Live From The Heart
In these times of incredible uncertainty, it is critically important to listen to your heart. Your heart is the direct line of communication between you and your higher self, also called your soul. When you listen to your heart, you are hearing the guidance of your higher-self.
Out Of The Head Into The Heart
In order to establish a clear channel of communication with your higher-self, you must become more heart-centered and less head-centered. You must get more in touch with your feelings and pay less attention to your logical, fearful head.
This can be scary because being in our logical head makes us feel safe and in control while loving, compassionate feelings make us feel vulnerable. Both forces seem to drive us toward fear.
When we love someone, we’re vulnerable to them. Their actions and words can wound us deeply, beyond our control. If they get hurt, we feel deep pain. We desperately want to protect them, but in love, we must let them go. Being in love can be very uncomfortable in the 3rd dimension.
When we’re faced with a challenge, we’re taught to think through it, to see the situation logically for what it is, without emotion, and make the best logical decision. We’re told never to act on emotion and when we do, we cause deeper problems for ourselves.
We should never act from emotion, but we should always let ourselves feel it, even embrace it, for there is powerful soul growth in human emotion. Embracing emotion should be the only action we take while we’re experiencing it. Instead of involving anyone else, just embrace the emotion within yourself. Keep it isolated within you and don’t lash out or react outwardly. Thank the emotion for the growth it brings your soul.
Then let it go. Replace it with heart-centered love and acceptance. Here’s how.
How to Live from the Heart
What does it mean to be heart-centered, to live more consciously from the heart? It means consciously feeling love and compassion at all moments throughout daily life.
This is absolutely under our conscious control. It might be challenging at first and it will take practice, but the payoff is immeasurable. If you want infinite joy and a life more amazing than you can possibly imagine no matter what’s going on in the outside world, here’s how to get it.
In order to live from the heart and fully connect with our higher selves, we must always consciously feel the emotion of love. Our thoughts dictate how we feel and we can totally control our thoughts.
Whey you first start to practice, it helps to get into the right state. As you get better, just do it spontaneously, throughout the course of the day. Do this every time you’re out of balance, you need an answer, you want to discern truth from delusion, you’re angry, hurt, etc.
To get into the right state, close your eyes, focus on this exact moment, take a few deep, slow breaths, relax your entire body as much as you possibly can, clear your mind. Then proceed with the following.
Think of a situation in which you felt unconditional love for someone. You will instantly feel unconditional love. Think of a situation in which you felt deep compassion for someone, maybe watching a child who is frustrated by a situation that you see from an adult point of view. You will instantly feel that compassion.
Think of situations that evoke the emotions of love and compassion, then focus on those emotions. Embrace them. Cognize what they feel like. Become intimately familiar with those sensations. Hold them as long as you can.
It’s also very important to learn to feel love for your self at will and live in that state throughout the day.
To live from your heart, that’s what you want to do throughout the day, especially when you’re feeling distinctly not in love.
Practice Your Heart Expression
This takes practice. Luckily, daily life provides plenty of opportunity to become fully heartful.
Living in Love will automatically connect you directly to your higher-self, your soul. We all need guidance from our higher self in these times of extreme uncertainty. You can be certain that your heart can never misguide or deceive you. If something doesn’t “feel” right, it’s probably not right for you.
Follow what does feel right in your heart and you can never go wrong.
